 At the Institute we strive to help individuals, families, friends, and communities as they struggle with the complex issues that surround our communities, because we believe that no one should have to confront these struggles alone. As we work side-by-side with community members, for as long as we are needed, we are committed to partnerships that mend health, promote compassion, and extend companionship to everyone who is in need.As part of this mission, the Institute has implemented the Reiki Outreach Program. The service is a voluntary assistance and partnership program that provides alternative healthcare therapies for those in various communities (Hospice Centers, Homeless Shelters, Women's Shelters, Assisted Living Facilities, Recovery Programs, Nursing Homes, etc.) that could not otherwise afford or access these services. We considers outreach programs such as this to be one of our most crucial and beneficial activities as Reiki Practitioners. For this reason, volunteers play and extremely important role in providing these services to such a large population.
